Newport Roof Repair and Replacement, Plus the Towns Next Door

Our crew handles roofs, gutters and siding for homeowners in Newport and on both banks of the Ohio. Each visit begins with a close look at your roof and a straight answer: a repair if it will hold up, or a clear reason when replacement is the better spend.

Where We Work

Most of our days are spent in Newport and the Kentucky towns close by: Fort Thomas, Bellevue, Southgate, Highland Heights and Cold Spring. We also head west to Covington, Fort Mitchell and Taylor Mill, and across the river to Cincinnati and Norwood. If you live near any of these, give us a call and we will tell you right away whether your street is in our area.

Your address does not change how we work. Wherever you call from, we come out for a free estimate, show you what is actually wrong, and give you an honest repair-or-replace answer before anything goes on the calendar. That covers roof repair, roof replacement, roof inspections, storm damage repair, gutters and siding. If a few shingles and some new flashing will give your roof more good years, that is what we will recommend. New customers can also take $50 off their first service call while our limited-time offer runs.

What Roofs Around Here Have in Common

  1. 01

    Older homes, older roofs

Many homes across Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati were built decades ago, often with steep pitches, more than one layer of old shingles, and chimneys that have been patched over the years. We check the decking and flashing under those layers, because that is usually where an older roof shows whether it can still be repaired.

  2. 02

    Freeze and thaw

A typical winter in this area crosses the freezing mark over and over. Melted snow seeps into tiny openings, refreezes and pries them wider, while ice dams form at the gutters and eaves. Come spring, the damage turns up as a ceiling stain or a slow drip. Catching loose flashing or a cracked pipe boot early is often a small repair instead of a new roof.

  3. 03

    Spring and summer storms

Thunderstorms roll through most springs and summers. Strong gusts can lift and crease shingle tabs, and some years bring hail. Once the weather clears, we take pictures of any damage and walk you through how a claim usually goes. The adjuster decides what your policy covers, and we help you make sense of what they will be checking.

  4. 04

Permits on both sides of the river

Permit rules differ from city to city, and Kentucky and Ohio handle things in their own ways. When your job needs a permit, we pull it and line up any inspection, so you are not left chasing paperwork.

  5. 05

    Gutters, trees and siding

Mature trees and heavy rain fill gutters fast. Overflow soaks fascia boards and stains siding, so we look at the whole roof edge, not just the shingles.
